Everyone must undergo instruction before climbing

At Gorilla Park, we place great emphasis on ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Our safety instruction is a crucial element of this, which is why everyone visiting the park must undergo this instruction. Once you have completed the instruction, you have the option to purchase either an annual pass or a VIGo pass, which among other benefits, serves as proof that you have completed the instruction and provides free or reduced entry.

Afterwards, you may choose to skip the instruction. However, please note that you must use Gorilla Park’s harnesses, and your harness must always be checked by an instructor before you begin climbing. The annual pass and VIGo pass will expire one year after the card is activated, so you must undergo instruction again (as a full-paying customer) before you can renew your card.

Please note that for safety reasons, you must receive our instruction once per season.

Equipment and safety

At Gorilla Park, your safety is our top priority. Therefore, we have invested heavily in safety systems and training for our staff. All climbing courses are equipped with the patented “SSB fall stop” system from Bornack, which is a unique safety system ensuring you always have a locked carabiner around a safety line. In other words, it is not possible to remove both safety carabiners from the safety line at once, thus risking a fall from the courses.
