The use of the climbing facility requires an entrance ticket. The entrance ticket grants access to 4 hours of climbing, including mandatory instruction (unless otherwise stated)
Children under 4 years old cannot use the climbing courses.
Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old at all times.
Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old in the park.
Youth aged 15-17 who are NOT accompanied by an adult over 18 years old must at least bring a written consent from a parent/guardian (including name and phone number) who is familiar with the activities in Gorilla Park and has given permission for them to use the climbing courses in Gorilla Park. Schools/institutions are considered responsible adults in this context.
Individuals over 120 kg are not allowed to use the climbing courses.
Individuals suffering from respiratory problems, heart conditions, poor back/neck, or who are in recovery after surgery, are not allowed to use the climbing courses.
Individuals suffering from epilepsy, narcolepsy, or similar disorders that may affect their ability to complete the activities on the climbing courses, must inform the staff before the climbing begins.
Pregnant climbers do so at their own risk, and climbing after the 12th week is not recommended.
Guests under the influence of alcohol or other substances are not allowed to use the climbing courses.
Instructors may at any time and without notice deem a person unsuitable to continue the activity and may expel the person without compensation.
Safety and responsibility
Gorilla Park is approved and insured according to the regulation for the operation of public amusement facilities.
Gorilla Park utilizes the market’s leading and award-winning passive safety system “SSB Safe Link.” Before climbing, guests must undergo a mandatory safety instruction.
It is the guest’s own responsibility to pay attention to the instruction and ask questions if anything is unclear.
The safety instruction includes a thorough demonstration and self-training in the use of “SSB Safe Link” and the 4 associated safety methods used in the park.
Guests using the climbing facility do so at their own risk and accept all obvious risks associated with climbing.
Guests also agree that Gorilla Park ApS cannot be held liable for loss of or damage to clothing or other personal items in connection with the use of the park’s facilities.
All instructors are trained for the responsibilities they hold, and all equipment and facilities are inspected daily.
For safety reasons, guests are not allowed to use the climbing courses while wearing scarves, and guests with long hair must at least tie their hair in a ponytail or braid.
For the elimination of risks of serious accidents, rescue operations (lowering guests from the courses) are only conducted in connection with first aid.
All movement on the ground within the facility’s area must take place on designated paths to avoid collisions with climbing guests.
Age limits
Children (4 – 7 years old) can only use “Baboon” (course 1) and the instructional courses.
Juniors (8 – 11 years old) can, after course 1, use “Orangutan” (course 2), “Gorilla” (course 3), and “Jungle trail” (course 4).
Juniors from 10 years old and minimum 130 cm can subsequently use “Silverback” (course 5) and “Flying Gorilla” (course 6).*
Adults (12+ years old), who are minimum 150 cm tall, can use all courses up to “Alpha” (course 7).*
To use “King Kong” (course 8 – only in Svendborg), one must be 15 years old, minimum 150 cm tall, and have completed Course 7.
Juniors (8 – 11 years old) must complete the courses in numerical order.
* Jungle trail (course 4) or Silverback (course 5) must be completed before “Flying Gorilla” (course 6), “Alpha” (course 7), or King Kong (course 8, only in Svendborg) is used.
Everyone with an entrance ticket may use Course 9 “Trækronen,” which can be used without a harness (Only in Svendborg).
Adults (12+ years old) may choose to start climbing on Course 1, Course 2, or Course 3.
Adults (12+ years old) may skip a maximum of one course number when choosing the next course.
Use of facilities and equipment
The designated paths between the climbing courses must be used when moving on the ground in the park. This also applies to individuals in the park who are not using the climbing courses.
Climbing facilities and equipment may only be used in accordance with the safety instruction.
Personal safety equipment may not be used.
The climbing facility may not be used outside of opening hours and when the yellow “danger” signs are displayed.
Access to the courses is closed when it is no longer possible to complete the course within opening hours.
Climbing harnesses must ONLY be put on/taken off on the platform and must be checked by an instructor before climbing resumes.

Eating, smoking, and restroom visits always occur WITHOUT climbing harnesses. Smokers are kindly reminded not to disturb other guests in the park.
Personal food, clothing, bags, and similar items MUST NOT be left on the platform or on tables/benches in the picnic area, but may be placed in the small houses near the picnic area (Vejle) or in the shelter (Svendborg).
Intentional violation of Gorilla Park ApS rules and guidelines will result in immediate expulsion and possible compensation claims.
If equipment is damaged due to improper use, compensation will be sought from the responsible party.
